JESTER LAVORRE | CRITICAL ROLE | reserved

Name: Genevieve “Jester” Lavorre
Canon: Critical Role (Campaign 2: the Mighty Nein)
Canon Point: post-C2e114
Age: Somewhere between 20 and 28, so let’s split the difference and say 24.
Character Information: Jester’s wiki page!
Canon Powers: A full list is located here!
Power Request:
I would like to request for Jester to be a Metamorphmagus. There are two main reasons for this: one, she uses shapeshifting abilities several times in canon, mostly as a means of disguise or to blend in with the crowd in places where her kind isn’t popular or common. This leads to the second reason: it would make sense for her power to manifest that way because she is a Trickster Cleric, high priestess to the Traveler, whose whole deal is chaos, trickery and deception. She’d use this power relatively often in order to avoid unnecessary attention since there aren’t very many non-humans at Hogwarts.
Personality:
Jester seems to have devoted her life to making mischief, something which is well-suited to her playful personality. She delights in causing chaos in ways that aren’t harmful—she often will rearrange entire shops while the clerk’s back is turned, loves to graffiti dicks basically anywhere she can manage to, and jumps at the chance to vandalize the temples of other deities in the name of her own. But beyond the mischief, Jester is also genuinely sweet, enthusiastic, and enjoys making other people laugh and smile, whether it be with a well-timed (probably dirty) joke or by dancing on her own to no music at all.
Jester’s devotion is a large facet of her personality, being that she spends her life in service of the Traveler, her patron deity. She sits down each night without fail to draw and write in her sketchbook, which is how she tells him what she’s done in his service. She also makes, of her own volition, pamphlets to hand out and spread the good word of the Traveler, as well as graffiti-ing his name in various places. She seems to truly believe in him as she turns to prayer in her darkest moments. However, there is doubt instilled in her after he doesn’t appear to help her when she is kidnapped in Episode 25. In addition to her devotion to her deity, Jester is also devoted to her family, both blood and found. She thinks of her mom often and constantly talks about how wonderful she is and how much she loves her, she embarks on her journey in hopes of finding her birth father, and as far as the rest of the Mighty Nein goes, she seems to care genuinely for them and is genuinely distraught whenever tragedy befalls one of its members.
Beyond her artistic endeavors—which are shown to be considerable, and which she attributes to having “really good tutors” growing up—Jester is incredibly imaginative. She talks a lot about things like “hamster unicorns”, which she insists are real. Her preferred aesthetic is ‘candy’—when she summons her first Spiritual Weapon, she decides it should take the form of a giant, sparkly turquoise lollipop. When thinking aloud about possible custom enchantments for her hand-axe, she mentions things like “turns people pink” “turns people into candy” “makes people dance uncontrollably” and “hits really hard and is poisoned.” She also spends the time she is imprisoned singing to cheer up her fellow prisoners, inserting her friends’ names into the songs—all of this while gagged and bound. Perseverance!!
Jester may act worldly—especially in matters of sex and love—but the fact of the matter is, she is EXTREMELY naive about the way the world works and the people in it act. While she tries her best to act like a mature adult, she often fails to conduct herself in a way that would be considered ‘seemly,’ making inappropriate comments, chattering uncontrollably when only a few words would suffice, and above all putting her faith in a largely unknown and untested deity who (for all she knew at the time) could be a dangerous being. She also fails to consider the consequences of her actions; the reason she was forced to leave home in the first place was due to an ill-thought-out prank which humiliated a Lord and would have cost her her life if her mother hadn’t sent her away for her own safety. Jester also has no idea about the value of money; she blows 5,000 gold within a few weeks, not realizing that it’s more money than most of her friends have ever seen in their lives, and doesn’t seem bothered about it at all.
Jester hates being alone; she grew up spending the vast majority of her time on her own in her bedroom, and now that she’s on her own she’s shown to be very hesitant to be by herself very often. This manifests in her being seen as needy or clingy, because she stays close to her friends most of the time. It’s also the biggest reason she has to doubt the Traveler; she felt hurt that her god didn’t show up to help her when she was being held captive and tortured, and afterward struggled to find a connection with him and wondered why he didn’t like her anymore.
It seems contrary in someone so naive, but Jester is very mistrustful, especially of strangers. Though she’s still friendly, she feels the need to second-guess everything from information to the authenticity of items (like diamonds or even currency). This is also something that goes hand-in-hand with her trickery. She knows how deceitful people can be—she is proficient in forgery herself and often cheats at games and contents!—so it gives her just cause to be distrusting of them just as others are distrusting of her.

Sephiroth | Final Fantasy VII (Crisis Core) | Reserved
Name: Ryoko
Age: 18+
Preferred Pronouns: She/Her
Contact:
In Character
Name: Sephiroth
Canon: Final Fantasy VII (Crisis Core)
Canon Point: Shortly after arriving in Nibelheim.
Age: 25
Character Information: https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Sephiroth#Story
Canon Powers:
* Legendary SOLDIER 1st Class: The process by which ShinRa creates SOLDIERS involves injecting them with mako. This results in enhanced strength, speed, agility, senses, resilience, endurance, healing and combat abilities. Sephiroth has the additional advantage of being infused with Jenova cells before his birth. This made him the vastly superior SOLDIER specimen which the company was never able to equal through any of its traditional processes. Is Sephiroth keeping any of these enhancements made to his physical body? The reason I ask is that they are not powers per se and thus I am slightly confused? If not, is it possible for his eyes to still glow green and appear cat-like? This is a defining aspect of his appearance.
* Master swordsman, master of materia based magic, proficient in hand to hand and aerial combat.
* Ambidextrous, speed so great he appears to be teleporting at times (shown in his boss battle with Zack), floating abilities, and can leap to great heights.
* Indomitable willpower: Sephiroth keeps his soul from merging back into the Lifestream after his death through the sheer force of his will. He is also able to dominate and control others, including his "mother" through a combination of this and his inherited S-Cells. While all this takes place after the point from which I am bringing him, it is still very significant.
* Jenova/S-Cells: Sephiroth can mind control/dominate the will of others who have Jenova cells in them in a variety of ways and also shape-shift. He doesn't know how to do any of this yet at the point from which I am bringing him but the potential is there. I would like for Sephiroth to retain his Jenova Cells as they are a literal part of his anatomy. I understand if they are rendered inert. I simply want to allow for the potential to exist for
Voldemortsomeone to, perhaps, use them against him in some capacity. Because I’m evil like that.* Limit Break: Octaslash, or a series of eight swift and high powered slashes from his sword.
* As his number one fan points out to his "elite" fanclub, Sephiroth is very talented at maintaining all that hair of his.
Power Request:
Between Sephiroth’s well-established willpower and the shape-shifting abilities his Jenova cells eventually grant him after he realizes how to control them, it is reasonable that he could be a metamorphmagus.
Personality:
Sephiroth is a confident, analytical and resilient person who is very good at compartmentalizing. He does exactly what is expected of him without any real intent behind it until his carefully ordered world begins to crumble and, ultimately, his sense of self and identity are irrevocably shaken.
Sephiroth’s eventual psychotic break leads him to instigate the infamous near extinction level event known as meteor and the more slow acting geostigma plague which would have eventually given him control over the Lifestream. Sephiroth is referred to as “a hero fallen from grace and dragged to the depths of hell” on the packaging for his Advent Children Kai figurine and as an “enemy to humanity” in Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive, Volume 2.
Sephiroth appears calm and collected and seems like the very last person who would suffer a psychotic break leading to delusions of grandeur with all the associated misanthropy and megalomania. However, as is usually the case the trope rings true: still waters run deep. Despite all outward appearances, Sephiroth suffers from a combination of both pondering and feeling things a little too intensely sometimes.
As is typical of introverted thinkers, Sephiroth seeks answers via internal means. He pushes other people like Zack away and isolates himself with research materials, but sometimes the conclusions he comes to are just plain wrong. The ultimate cause of his descent into madness is when he mistakenly accepts false information he reads as truth and builds from this fallacy the idea of himself as “the chosen one to rule this planet.”
Sephiroth demonstrates his keen intelligence and analytical capabilities in a different way after going insane when he fixates on Cloud and uses these talents to emotionally manipulate and gaslight him through the rest of the Compilation. Although his logic and reasoning are now warped, Sephiroth also showcases his capacity to execute complex plans taking place over extended periods of time, as is the case with the means he goes to to acquire the Black Materia and his use of Geostigma to poison the Lifestream.
As an introvert, Sephiroth comes across as professional yet aloof and does not associate with many people. Tseng says of him to Zack that Genesis and Angeal are “his only two friends.” Sephiroth does not care for attention or admiration, nor is he after personal glory or fame. When Genesis, who is constantly seeking these things, expresses his jealousy, Sephiroth calls him “petty” and says he can “have it.” In other words, that Genesis can play the hero in their real life version of Loveless and reap all of the associated benefits. Despite all of this, Sephiroth is shown demonstrating caring for even a lowly trooper like Cloud when he considers what Cloud must be feeling without him having said anything and offers him the chance to visit his family.
It is not very surprising that Sephiroth is analytically minded, nor that he would so easily abjure fame and glory, and further that he keeps his distance from most people when one considers his past. Sephiroth has “no hometown” that he remembers and is therefore isolated from and curious about the universal human experience of belonging and/or nostalgia. He also suffers all the baggage that comes with being an orphan, as far as he knows. Sephiroth spends the formative years he does remember in the care of ShinRa with frequent interaction with its infamous Professor Hojo.
ShinRa’s callous disregard for human life and the wellbeing of its employees and Professor Hojo’s propensity for human experimentation without limitation are some of the central themes of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation. Considering these factors, Vincent’s flashbacks, Sephiroth’s comments, and the fact that he is the successful result of “Project S” and therefore cannot be copied and does not degrade, it is easy to extrapolate what his childhood and earlier years must have been like.
In picturing Sephiroth’s early life as one filled with sparring, training, tests, and experimentation all under the purview of callous individuals only interested in results it is simple to see why he developed such a strong reliance on himself. Further, in being so successful as to become “better than the rest” to the point where his battlefield prowess is considered “legendary,” it is not much of a leap to imagine the praise he would have received for excellent results and thus the immunity to such things he developed and shows later in life. After all, Sephiroth isn’t some spoiled child simply being told he is amazing. He is someone who demonstrates his “unreal” strength and abilities repeatedly and through scientifically verifiable means. Over time, such consistent and excellent results and praise would become routine and thus lose all meaning.
Sephiroth is “a special existence,” something he has always known and felt. As an adult he is motivated by a strong sense of self-confidence and worth that is internally validated. He tells Genesis to “come and try” to defeat him and asks of Angeal “is that the best you can do?” Sephiroth is “relentless” in pursuit of his goals and has such strong willpower that even after being killed his soul “refuses to die.” Even after purposely forgetting his own appearance and “irrelevant” memories, he hangs on, stating to Cloud at one point, “I will...never be a memory.”
Sephiroth’s willpower is strong enough that he is even able to “overpowe[r] Jenova’s will” and gain “the ability to exert his influence through her cells” according to his wiki. Sephiroth is able to override the will of others with Jenova cells and even go so far as to puppeteer their bodies, all from beyond the grave. He also forms three beings from his memories and will, the “Thoughtforms” or “Remnants,” and uses them as agents for his resurrection. This is all testament to his incredible willpower and sense of self, which is still present to this extent even after being eroded by insanity, death, and the Lifestream.
Sephiroth might have a strong core sense of self and willpower, but before his psychotic break he lacks purpose. Sephiroth fights because that is what he was created to do, and because he is good at and enjoys it. He describes to Zack the instances where he, Genesis, and Angeal would “sneak [into the company training room] for fun when the 2nds were out.” On the other hand, Elfe asking after Sephiroth’s reason for fighting has quite an effect on him, the results of which “one day threaten the planet’s existence” according to his wiki and as demonstrated by his bid for deity through the virtual annihilation of Gaia.
Sephiroth’s strength, capabilities, fame, lack of a proper upbringing, and introverted personality cause him to lead a rather isolated existence. He does not form attachments with ease, but once he does he feels them deeply and is very loyal. Sephiroth respects Professor Gast and scorns Professor Hojo. He refuses missions to do with Genesis and Angeal after they abandon ShinRa, commits to borderline seditious acts such as teaming up with Angeal and at another time committing to finding his friends first in order to “fail” at the mission of eliminating them. Finally, he admits to Zack that “depending on what happens, I may abandon ShinRa.”
Because Sephiroth is so loyal to his chosen few friends and to the company to which he has devoted his whole life, “a burning hatred [takes] root in his heart upon realizing the origins of his birth,” according to the packaging for his Advent Children Kai figurine. “His passionate contempt [is] not only directed toward [Shinra], who had condemned him to this horrible fate, but to everything around him, everything he had ever known, believed in or trusted.”
The point from which I am taking Sephiroth is early in the Nibelheim mission, well before he experiences the final and ultimate in a series of betrayals of trust and ultimately loses his mind and his life. At this point, Sephiroth knows enough about ShinRa to be disillusioned with the company but not enough to abandon it without reason. He states to Zack, “until then, I’ll remain loyal to SOLDIER” showing that even up until the end he kept his honor and integrity as a SOLDIER intact.

TONY STARK | MCU | reserved
Name: Beck
Age: 36
Preferred Pronouns: she/her
Contact: PM
In Character
Name: Tony Stark
Canon: MCU
Canon Point: Pre-Iron Man 2
Age: 39
Character Information:
Wiki
Canon Powers: Tony is a Badass Normal with high ranks in Wisdom and Intellect:
He’s built a miniaturized arc reactor-plus-rudimentary-mech-suit in a cave, dozens of Iron Man armor and eventually a particle accelerator in his garage, and a wide array of lethal & non-lethal weaponry from a trip to Home Depot. Tony is incredibly intelligent and highly resourceful, quick-witted and readily adaptable to whatever's thrown his way.
While this isn't a power per se, it gives him a definite advantage on and off the field.
While he's baseline human, he has also had odd moments of clairvoyance in canon, from hearing Pepper's voice and seeing the rt in IM during his torture, to witnessing a second chitauri invasion in AoU and foreseeing Thanos, even if not by name, and dreaming of his future daughter in IW.
Power Request: N/A
Personality:
Tony Stark is an intelligent, egotistical, sometimes coolly cynical man hiding a warm heart, with a deep awareness of the responsibilities he's chosen to willingly shoulder for the sake of loved ones and the world itself.
He often puts forth the image of a man who's untouchable, unaffected by the petty worries and minute bullshit of the world at large. In the public eye from a young age, Tony has had to inure himself against the scrutiny and attention that comes with holding celebrity status for 30+ years (and helming a corporate empire for 18 of those years), from savage critique, to heaps of empty flattery, to handling those who've never really seen him as a person, just an attractive stack of money or a clever brain to exploit. He knows how the game works, and he's learned how to play it well. To those who don't know him, he comes off as an arrogant, know-it-all rich douchebag.
Pepper once observed, way back in IM (quoting from the novelization here) how "sometimes it was difficult to get any sort of read off Tony Stark. He kept his innermost thoughts and feelings, his very soul, walled off." At his present canonpoint, he's still only going to open up to those he's close to, a very, very small circle of people. Tony later self-describes his Iron Man armor as a cocoon (IM3), but it's not the first of its kind for him to wear, that layer of deadpan, cynical wit cushioning him from the outside world.
Though he can seem untouchable, Tony’s just as human as the rest of us, and fallible, and he can be kind of a bratty diva.
Tony's stubbornness is a Hallmark of his personality, which can be fantastic! That drive to better himself and his work, not just give up in the face of adversity, serves him time and time again, coupled that with an unwillingness to rest until he's exhausted all options at his disposal– many, many options, many failsafes. On the other hand, his tendency to be so very headstrong also gets him into trouble as often as it gets him out of trouble. Refuse to build a Jericho missile for the Ten Rings, while at their mercy? Say hello to torture. Ignore JARVIS when he warns of imminent icing issues as you bolt for the stratosphere? Su– oh. Tony’s pretty certain he knows what’s best– or he’ll 100% project that appearance.
To others, especially when he's riding high at the top of his game, Tony's just fun to be around, intoxicatingly confident (and confident in his compatriots), the life of the party, and someone who knows how to play to a crowd, whether it's an amphitheater of thousands or an intimate audience of one. Take Bern in '99! Even when he was ridiculously drunk and tilting his hat toward getting in Maya Hansen's pants, he was also interested and impressed in her Extremis research, even leaving her with a parting gift: the formula she used to take her findings into human trials.
Find where where both extremes meet and you get a third angle of Stark, truer than the other two and fiercely protected against threats. Beneath the cool distance and manic intensity, he's a man burdened by the heavy weight of responsibility, hiding warm affection and deep loyalty for the friends who've stuck by him. Sort of ironic that he had the arc reactor protecting his heart, WHILE he's also built up an emotional wall to keep his heart safe. As he admits desperately to Pepper later on in IM3: "...threat is imminent, and I have to protect the one thing that I can’t live without. That’s you."
Protecting those he loves starts (or started) with protecting himself from harm. While this would seem a very selfish act (and let's get another thing straight, Tony can be selfish, it’s that whole complicated bit again), he's also incredibly selfless. Tony has shown time and time again he's more than willing to throw himself in harm's way to protect innocent lives. Refusing to cooperate with the Ten Rings, blowing up their arsenal while sustaining injury to himself, and instructing Pepper to blow the arc reactor to stop Obadiah's rampage, knowing he might also be killed by the blast.
His stubborn nature is also not the be-all and end-all of him; accustomed as he is to being the smartest guy in the room, he's not necessarily unwilling to compromise when he's wrong (you just better have your shit together), and neither is he unwilling to work with others, even bowing to their expertise and leadership over him, as later films have shown. Tony also shows remarkable affection and deep interest (even a side of unexpected thoughtfulness) for the people in his life. He banters with Pepper about her birthday plans and has no issue with her buying her own birthday present from his account, he teases Rhodey, listens to his drunken rambles about what his work means to him and seeks him out first to tell him about the Iron Man armor, and prior to Obadiah's betrayal, treats the man much like a surrogate father, trusting him to lead in Tony's best interests, even remarking on a gift he'd sent him.
Tony's largest fear, meanwhile, is that his present legacy is nothing but destruction, loss and that his past sins and inaction could hurt not just himself, but might result in the deaths of friends and allies, and impact earth in the worst ways possible. Later in canon, Tony's uncertainty for the future drives him, often in self-destructive ways. Though we don't see so on-camera, aside from a deleted scene, we know he spends much of his time between IM1 and IM2 searching for an element to replace the palladium in his chest rt, and it's very likely he knew his eventual death, if it wasn't corrected, as likely as far back as the end of IM1. While this issue is corrected once arriving in the HP universe (thanks, St. Mungo's!), the anxiety of it isn't so easily shaken.
Alright to close this out, because this is long and unwieldy now, Tony Stark is so much more than his public persona, one just has to make it past a hell of a lot of barriers to entry in order to see it.

STEVE ROGERS | MCU | Reserved
Name: Katie
Age: 36
Preferred Pronouns: she/her
Contact:
In Character
Name: Steven Grant Rogers
Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Canon Point:post-ice, before Avengers
Age:
9326Character Information: wiki
Canon Powers:
Extremely good memory - not quite eidetic, but able to glance at something for 3 seconds and remember almost everything he saw. Superhuman strength (caveat: it's talked of in-world as "peak human strength" - I can give half a dozen examples where even Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime couldn't pull that stuff off. I'm fine dialing it down to normal/buff-human levels.) Hyper reflexes - not superhuman as far as I can tell, merely "peak human."
Power Request: N/A
Personality:
Steve Rogers is a man born at the beginning of the 20th century (1918 to be exact) in New York City to an Irish immigrant mother. He was always small for his age, and had a weak constitution, with numerous health problems and catching basically every disease possible. At that point in time, eugenics was seen as a benevolent culling of the weak, and Steve was the weakest. There were impersonal signs around the city stating that people like him should be "dealt with" for the greater good of society. And as a small, frail man, he was constantly bullied, looked down on and underestimated by men, and looked down on and sneered at by women.
And then he became Captain America. But he still mostly sees himself as that little guy, and in fact sometimes clings to it, knowing that was why he was chosen, and not wanting to lose it. Since then, he's gone through a lot - losing his best friend, followed swiftly by thinking he's about to die, only to wake up almost 70 years in the future and realizing he didn't lose his own life, but the whole world has passed him by; all of his friends are either dead or close to it, and everything is different. Except him.
Steve has always had a profound sense of right and wrong, lines one shouldn't cross, and that everyone should be treated fairly and equally, and allowed to live their life in freedom. His motivation is the sense that if you have the ability to help someone, you have an obligation to do so.
"I don't like bullies. I don't care where they're from."
This is Steve in a nutshell. No matter what his abilities or strength, he refuses to allow people to be bullied, or put his head down when he perceives an injustice is being done.
Despite being good at giving spontaneous inspirational speeches, Steve is more a man of action, and isn't always great at getting his intentions across with words. He's very much an example of "actions speak louder than words", and tries most to lead by example.
He's a "natural leader", but part of that is recognizing when he's not the most equipped to handle a situation, and listening to others until he can understand a given situation. He's a strange dichotomy of team player and lone wolf, depending on situations and how competent he feels about the situation and his understanding of the underlying issues.
Sometimes this is overridden by his stubbornness. Once he thinks he understands a situation, or if something pushes his buttons, he digs his heels in, and even evidence to the contrary will rarely make him change his stance.
(most of this characterization comes from later in canon than I'm taking him, but I think there are enough hints in The First Avenger to justify bringing it up; it just hasn't come up yet that we've seen.)

Crowley | Good Omens | Not Reserved
Name: Green Rivers
Age: 35
Pronouns: she/her or they/them
Contact:
In Character
Name: Anthony J. Crowley
Canon: Good Omens (TV)
Canon Point: Post series
Age: 6000+
Character Information: Good Omens Fan Wiki
Canon Powers:
Trickier things like passing through a wall of flames unscathed, and driving a burning car for 45 minutes without it falling apart takes a lot out of Crowley physically and requires a good imagination to maintain certain degree of denial for that long. So for miracles to be performed, the mindset of the one performing them is integral. For example, Crowley has an unplugged fridge stocked full of gourmet food that never goes off because (while we know that's not how any of that actually works) Crowley assumes that putting food in a fridge will keep it fresh indefinitely and so reality warps around that assumption.
Power Request: Given he's a giant demonic serpent with the capacity to commune with vermin, an Animagus and/or Parselmouth seems appropriate.
Also I know that while he will lose his canon powers, I'd love for him to retain his canon weaknesses such as consecrated things being harmful and holy water being able to kill him very very dead (because Crowley experiencing any form of inconvenience gives me life).
Personality:
Note: Provided it either supports or doesn't explicitly contradict show canon, I use stuff from the book to fill in any gaps since we don't really get to see Crowley's inner thoughts in the show.
On first impression, one would not peg Crowley for an Avatar of Evil, part of the Legions of the Damned, cast out of Heaven and Fallen from the Grace of God. This is because Crowley looks and acts more like an aging rock star than some hellion risen from damnation to wreak havoc on mortals. He struts around brazenly, he dresses in trendy styles, and he owns a cool, modern flat, dark as a tomb and just as minimalist, just like the kind of rich and callous human he's trying to ape would. There's not a lot one could glean about Crowley's actual personality from the outside. And that's exactly how he prefers it.
Crowley is a demon, yes, that will always be true. But he has, for the time being, resigned and retired from all that entails; the first, in fact, to do so.
We should start from the beginning; Crowley has always been an odd duck, never quite fitting in with his peers (both angelic and demonic). For starters, he's inquisitive to a fault; it's one of his most defining characteristics. He will fire off any number of questions and observations - from the perceptive and philosophically profound, to the utterly inane (do ducks really have ears?) - without much in ways of a filter. This has landed him in hot water (and hotter sulfur) a number of times from the (quite literally) very Beginning.
This brings us to Crowley's Fall; a sore spot of contention for Crowley (moreso in the show than the book). We don't know much about who he was as an angel, only that he helped build stars and nebulae and he was cast out for being too inquisitive. To this day though, he remains hurt and bewildered by God's rejection, not understanding why he was punished simply for being how She made him. He tends to project his own complicated feelings over his Fall whenever God's feeling a bit wroth; often describing Holy Retributions as 'a bit of an overreaction' or 'sounds more like something my lot would do'.
As a demon, Crowley has not just found ways to survive, but also thrive, even if the role as an arbiter of Evil doesn't quite feel like it fits any more than his former role as an angel. He never managed to climb the ranks as he never had any ambition beyond staying alive, but he managed to find that sweet spot where he wasn't necessarily important but he wasn't expendable either. His peculiar capacity for imagination (a rare trait among angels and demons) coupled with a solid work ethic and knack for efficiency with just that bit of flare for the dramatic made him great at temptations. He also knew when to obey and when to present the face of obedience and thus wound up with the cushy job as a demonic agent on Earth to find ways to secure souls for Satan.
Being left to his own devices was a very good position for Crowley. You see, if he had spent most of his time in Hell, it would become increasingly apparent that Crowley is not, in fact, fit for the job. He is many things - ornery, sarcastic, selfish, cowardly, and a shrewd opportunist when it comes to taking credit for atrocities entirely of humanity's own making - but he is neither sadistic nor malicious. In fact, according to Pratchett and Gaiman, his favourite demonic pastimes amount to little more than juvenile practical jokes, and being a public nuisance. Even with the whole temptation thing, Crowley's always had a sense of fair play about it. He knows how absurd this is; after all, nothing in his existence has been fair - not Heaven nor Hell, not life, and certainly not God Herself. But Crowley? Crowley is very fair. He always makes sure humans have a clear choice between Wrong and Right and that the choice to do Wrong is in their own hands.
Crowley doesn't bare humanity much in ways of ill will - if anything he's grown rather fond of Earth and the seven billion humans and one angel that inhabit it. Fond enough, in fact, that he was quite willing to risk everything to save it from the impending apocalypse.
This is because, despite his many failings and flash bastard facade, Crowley can be a genuinely kind, compassionate, and loyal person. And while he'd much sooner run than fight any day, Crowley is a pro at 'fake it until you make it' and can put on the face of bravado when he sincerely believes in something, even if he's certain there's no hope of a favourable outcome.

Parselmouth ability granted.
Crowley will not start off with with Animagus abilities out of the gate, but should he choose to explore that path ICly, he will find that it comes more naturally to him. Where it takes some years, it will take Crowley far less, up to player discretion, but with at least six months of study.

Princess Azula / Avatar: The Last Airbender
Name: Al
Age: 32
Contact: Either via Plurk at Alkapwnd or on Discord at Alkapwnd#4721 or good ole fashioned Email at alkapwnd87@gmail.com
In Character
Name: Azula
Canon: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Canon Point: From the end of the comic book series "The Search"
Age: As canon is non-specific about when birthdays happen I decided to go with 16 to give her more time before having to move to the Adult side of things but if that's an issue we can bump her up to 17.
Character Information: https://avatar.fandom.com/wiki/Azula
Canon Powers:
Fire Bending: Azula like many others in her world has the ability to create and manipulate fire. Unlike most people however Azula is particularly skilled and powerful at it. Aside from being able to produce massive amounts of it, her flames are also noted for being blue rather then orange or red like most Firebenders in her world. It is speculated this is because her flames are somehow more pure. (Probably just aesthetic though.) She can produce fire from her hands, feet and even her mouth.
Lightning (Bending?): Azula has studied and practiced her Firebending to such a degree she is able to produce and manipulate lightning as well. The technique is considered very volatile and dangerous even to attempt and in theory can only be done by someone who is extremely skilled and percise...although Azula has shown to be able to do it even when she is having a sort of emotional breakdown.
Martial Arts: Not sure if this counts as a power but Azula is also a highly trained Martial Artist which is part of her Firebending abilities.
Power Request: I think Parseltongue might fit someone of Azula's background given the Fire Nation's complicated history with dragons (The kind that look long and serpentine), and Azula's own silver tongued nature.
Personality:
Azula is largely the product of her abusive home life and family situation. Ambition and perfection was praised while things like empathy and sympathy were considered weaknesses. Her father wanted her to be the perfect weapon and so she pushed herself constantly to be what he expected of her. Even at the cost of her own emotional needs. And after her mother vanished leaving Azula only with memories of her disappointment and scorn, the Princess grew up believing that she was a monster, but a monster that was better then everyone else and they should know it.
Over the series we see Azula as a cold calculating perfectionist, perfectly comfortable with not only commanding soldiers and citizens alike without shame or compassion. She threatens them with death for failing to meet her high standards and even at one point manipulates a secret police force into arresting their former leader and installing her as the new ruler. When Azula is on her A game she is several steps ahead of her enemies and will savor rubbing their humiliation in their face when it's over.
There is another side to Azula though, for as confident as she is there is an insecure part of her that festers over time, blooming into a full on paranoia and anxiety complex. Her failure at the hands of her brother and a Water Tribe peasant was a crushing blow to her already fractured ego, but the real damage began when her two best friends betrayed her.
Azula had when she was very young become friends with two incredibly talented and dangerous girls. Their friendship was years of bullying and unhealthy behaviors, but it was the closest thing to real friendship she'd ever known. Unfortunately due to her own meddling and manipulations her friend Mai fell in love with Azula's brother Zuko. And so when the time came for Azula to demand Mai betray Zuko and kill him, Mai betrayed Azula. And when Azula tried to punish Pai (possibly kill her?) Ty Lee betrayed Azula leaving her helpless and furious on the ground. She had the two of them arrested promptly.
That began Azula's spiral into madness. Hallucinations, paranoia over being betrayed, erratic mood swings. The more pressure built on her the worse it got culminating into a massive emotional breakdown and her defeat. After that she was able to start building herself back up, struggling to find coping mechanisms for a life where she had to acknowledge she is flawed. She is imperfect and she has to find a new purpose.

Chloe Price | Life is Strange

Age: 18+

In Character
Name: Chloe Price
Canon: Life is Strange
Canon Point: Save-the-Bay ending before she sacrifices herself
Age: 19
Character Information: Wiki link
Canon Powers: N/A
Power Request: N/A
Personality: All things considered, Chloe hasn't lived the easiest of lives. Because of this, she isn't easy to get along with, either. The two biggest factors in Chloe's life that sent it all spiraling downhill is the death of her dad as well as her best friend, Max, moving away shortly after. Without Max there to keep her from making bad decisions, Chloe inevitably closed herself off and started to act out in various way, which created a strain on her relationship with her mother and everyone else around her.
She's angry because her father died, she's angry because her mother married someone she doesn't get along with and she's angry because she's alone. Her unhappiness at home is a big part of what drives her down the path of recklessness. She's resentful that her mother remarried, much less to David Madsen of all people. She and David have an awful, antagonistic relationship and Chloe often refers to him as "stepdouche". She has no respect for him at all and actively antagonizes him whenever she gets the chance.
Her relationship with her mother is better though- she loves her mom, even if she's terrible at showing it and often causes her mother more grief than she intends. It's just hard, y'know, when you have so much anger and resentment build up. She tries to distance her mom from her shenanigans as much as possible, but when you get into as much trouble as Chloe does, it's not an easy feat.
On the outside, it all looks like typical teenage rebelliousness. Chloe likes to spend her free time drinking, smoking up or just generally having a good time, so she isn't angry or resentful all the time- in her down time, she enjoys music, going to concerts, having a good time and chilling with people. Some would say she can be funny, witty and overall a chill person to hang out with. She's just had the misfortune of falling in with the Wrong Crowd and as a result, she's gotten into some pretty bad situations.
She's been in trouble for vandalism, drug use, violence and theft and as a result she's been expelled from Blackwell Academy because of it; though her abysmal GPA of 1.7 probably had a lot to do with it as well- which is hilarious, because it's revealed in "Before The Storm" that she's actually good at science and potentially other subjects, she just doesn't give enough of a shit to go to school. So she's smart, it just doesn't necessarily show because she's too busy sticking it to the man.
There was one good thing about her going to Blackwell though; she met Rachel Amber. Rachel was essentially Chloe's rock and savior. It's stated by Chloe that Rachel saved her life, helped keep her from spiraling too far out of control. Rachel was there for her when no one else was, Chloe immediately felt a connection to her and for the longest time, Rachel was the only good thing in her life. For better and worse, she's had a large influence on Chloe's life right down to Chloe's signature "hella" that she picked up from Rachel.
Needless to say, Rachel disappearing really did a number on Chloe. It's made it hard for her to be optimistic or happy, she honestly feels lost without her, just the same she did with Max.
When Max comes back into her life, it's obvious from the start that despite how happy Chloe is to see her, she holds some anger and resentment towards her for leaving and not keeping in touch. They were best friends, after all. She's angry and hurt and she lets Max know, because she isn't the type to hide her anger or hold her tongue even when it comes to friends.
That's the one thing that drives people away from Chloe and gets her in trouble the most- her mouth. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, nor does she think through the ramifications of her actions or her words and she can be downright reckless. At a few points in the game, Max has to rewind time because Chloe has gotten herself in trouble, either physically or verbally because she's picked a fight when she shouldn't.
Don't think she doesn't love Max, though- as far as she's concerned, having Max back is the best thing to happen to her. For better or for worse, they both have each other's back. To get an idea of how much she cares for and values Max, it's revealed in "Before the Storm" that Chloe regularly wrote letters to Max that she wouldn't send, because she got tired of Max never writing her back. But in spite of that, she'd always said she would gladly welcome Max back without a second thought.
Chloe, for all of her faults, is a good friend. Once she cares about someone, there isn't anything she won't do for them- it's not an exaggeration to say she would kill for them. When finding out that Rachel's been murdered, Chloe is at first so grief stricken that she can't do anything but sob. When she recovers, she's out for blood and doesn't even think twice before she's rushing off to literally go kill the person she thinks is responsible for it. Chloe doesn't play around.
Adding to that, Chloe is resourceful and smart. It's with her help that they uncover the mystery behind Rachel's disappearance, and while she might not have the powers Max does, she's good at lying and convincing people when she needs to- or outright arguing with them, honestly. In "Before the Storm", it's often Chloe's talent at arguing that gets her what she wants. While it gets her in trouble, it also benefits her occasionally.
That's why it's good that she has Max in her life- Max keeps her from going overboard or doing anything too reckless, which Chloe sometimes takes for granted. She's always quick to encourage Max to use her powers, never once thinking of the consequences no matter how many times Max tries to tell her that they can't rely on them.
Over the course of the game, Chloe comes to realize just how much she cares about Max and how good she's been to her. It all comes to a head when they both realize that Chloe needs to die in order to set things right in Arcadia Bay. She selflessly accepts the fact and even admits to her wrongdoings, her shitty behavior towards her parents and shows remorse for it all. But above it all, she loves Max and doesn't want Max to ever forget her.
All in all, Chloe is unpredictable, wild, reckless, always ready to do stupid shit for fun or profit, occasionally selfish; the list goes on. She's just very much the type of person who relies on others a little too much, whether she realizes it or not. It's not that she's a bad person, she just makes a lot of mistakes.
